Well the news isn't getting any better: THE great electric car turn-off continues apace as new figures show a 25pc plunge in buyer numbers for the year to date.


It's not surprising in many ways either when you see that several incentives were reduced last year, including the SEAI purchase and home charger grants, while Benefit-In-Kind (BIK) for company EVs is schedule to increase significantly in 2025.

It really doesn't make any sense when any incentives to reverse this trend are being constantly eroded - what's going on ?
