    Broken iPhone

Just dropped my iPhone 4S and now the screen light doesn't work and the back is smashed? It's not insured so how much would a new screen be and would it be easy to fix or would I be better off getting a shop to do it?

Yep parts on eBay are ridiculously cheap and the 4s is surprisingly easy to work on once you get the right tools(eg pentalobe screwdriver). I recently replaced the battery in mine, took about 5min.

If your replacing covers it's an opportunity to change colour if you fancy.
