Great stuff to use , lovely finish Aidy.

What's the best way of doing this, use the black light first etc and what's the best way to apply?
Looking good Harry!! ;)
Nothing special regarding application; same as a wax or sealant. Apply with foam applicator, let it cure for a bit and buff off!!
As its not really considered a protection product, it's best to apply a wax or sealant onto top to ensure it lasts. Pete's53 is a very nice combo.
Thanks a million Dave, product is pure class, love it!!! :hehe!:  :cool:Quote:

Dave, I will order some Blacklight and Petes along with the snow foam and a few other bits. If not in stock for delivery Friday to me I will arrange to collect from you.Quote:

Any advantage applying the black light with a DA polisher? And will it get rid of the swirl marks?
No harm applying it by DA but tbh it wont do much, if any, in the way of removing swirls. I have only used it once for a customer but from memory it has 0 cut its a filler product, and would be classed as a glaze. Be like Super Resin Polish on Steroids
As Chris says, wont do anything for swirls, other than hide them with the fillers.
Its a wet look and defect hiding product....but needs to be locked in with a wax or sealant for durability!
Im a hardcore fan of blacklight. I apply with a DA and find that to be a good job, it will not ,however, do much to remove swirls , best off getting a polish to the car beforehand, I have used both v07 and 3n pro polish to good effect.Quote:

Also need some polishing pads, and a good polish to remove swirl marks.
Thanks.
Had no patience to wait on the Pete's 53 and i was ordering some more microfibres so i went for a bottle of the Chemical Guys Butter Wet Wax,gonna put a layer of it on top of the Blacklight this evening
Ordered Chemical Guys yesterday...just got an email saying there is a 2 week wait on Blacklight as they are out also.
Aidy, any chance of a bit of a review and pics when you use the butter wax,I'll wait for the Petes but like to see the effect of a different product on the same paint, thanks in advance.Quote:

Yeah as Curran says its very easy on,easy off and i find its very glossy but that could be coming from the Blacklight underneath,i've heard the durability isn't great but i dont mind as i polish/wax once a week anyway! Will still be trying the Pete's 53 when its back in stock.....Just a few pics of the car this morning as it was dark last night when i finished, not much sun this morning for reflection shots either i'm afraid

Perfection!! Good work!
Great job, i did a double take looking at the white stone reflection thinking it was paint chips
Haha it does look that way,but you'd do well to find a paint chip on this wagon :DQuote:
