Has anyone else pre ordered one?
Anyone on the 5s upgrading?
I'm pretty happy with the upgrades on the 5 and the larger screen that it's worth the scratch (200 on upgrade)
What's people's opinions?

Nope and not too impressed with the lack of innovation. Strongly considering going android next.
Go Android for sure next time John, I've an iPhone 5S for work and it's not a patch on the Samsung S3 I have
My iPhone 5 is absolutely fucked didn't make the 2 years. Would be slow to take a new contract for a iPhone 6. Nothing new. Production costs down boring technology. Want a galaxy note 4 just need to check if it will work properly with my car radio.
I think iPhones reached their peak (of innovation) with the 4, no update has had anything truly impressive since. It could be that there's nothing really left to add to a phone... What would make a phone better now? I'm not a die hard apple fan in anyway shape or form, but nothing else really floated my boat. Definitely not bothered about the 6 though, and really don't fancy anything with fingerprint scanning...!
I was really annoyed when they put the U2 album on my phone too. It's my phone how dare they control it's content. I really hate U2 also but it was a poor move. They keep loosing. I really don't know why they don't stream or a spotify situation yet through iTunes. I used to like the iTunes set up now any device can run the spotify app so iTunes is redundant. The quality id imagine is terrible if my iPhone 5 is anything to go by!
Totally off topic... But I just realised you're nearly at 666 posts :pQuote:

I wouldn't agree with that, I've had a 5s now for a while and the difference in speed and performance between it and my old 4s was chalk and cheese. 64bit in my opinion is apples best innovation for phones.Quote:

Cracking post!!! I however prefer racing cars as opposed to killing zombies when "on the on job"Quote:

I got my 6 yesterday. I also use android for work, but iOS is my favourite.
Delighted with it. People will moan about iOS, people will moan about android, it's a personal choice. Let people pick what they want themselves and don't get hung up on what phone another person uses.
I preferred the Nokia days. Its hard these days to make conversation with people they are "too busy" on their phones talking to other people "socialising"
One of the better ones:

and the best phone I have ever owned, dropped numerous times and never gave hassle battery lasted 5 times an iPhone:

Absolutely agree Chris, it's nice to have the convenience of being able to do just about anything on your phone but it's really annoying being around people that are on their phone all the time. I was a fan of the 3210 myself, the e36 of mobile phones :p
This year ive had 5 different phones,HTC ONE M7,Nokia Lumia 930,iPhone 5S,Samsung Galaxy S4,LG G3,im using the G3 at the moment and its and unbelievable phone i bought the 32GB model and have a 128gb sd card so for €510 i have a phone with 160gb storage! I used to always buy iphones but couldnt be bothered with them anymore when there is so much choice out there now.
Oh yeah i have a Nokia 3310 too, like to keep it old school :D
How you finding it? I've preordered but their not coming out here til 26thQuote:

I phone schmi phone! Apple are absolute pants! I've just changed over to a galaxy s5 and NEVER going back again!
Go android and download/do whatever you like without being locked into apple's POPS world!
I'm downloading albums and films for free while typing this:-)
Just my 2c.
Can you recommend a place to buy a G3? I didn't think they were available here. I'm leaning towards one of these instead of an iPhone 6.Quote:

Will be upgrading to the 6.
Best phone ever made though? This... The Nokia 6310i

The 6210 was around for at least a 2
years before the 6310 came along. I had both, and the 10 came with Bluetooth and GPRS. Memories of reading websites on the tiny black on blue screen and being amazed at how fast GPRS was :) And forgetting to charge the thing 2 days in a row without running out of juice.
I remember thinking the 5510 was the coolest thing ever with 64mb space for mp3s and the full keyboard :D And vodafone had a service that allowed you to check your emails and an automatic voice would read them out to you. Was crazy at the time :D amazing the difference 10 years makes eh? :pQuote:

That said, Apple build quality is second to none and I've yet to see an android device that comes close. The HTC One M8 is about the closest.
In terms of OS choice, they're both good (but annoying in different ways) so mostly it comes down to personal preference. I've jumped between the 2 many times since the first devices were released and currently Android is more pleasant to use.
I'd say the most interesting device out there at the moment is the new Sony Xperia Z3. Lovely screen, couple days of battery life and the Compact edition is a reasonable size with decent hardware. And Sony don't go all Touchwiz on their phones (which is the main reason I dislike Samsungs).
Nokia went full on concept phone for a while. Remember the N-Gage? :)Quote:

Going from being a true Nokia head to the Iphone wasnt easy but delighted I switched, love the fact that Apple stuff in general all integrates plus I find the quality good. Personally I dont want a 6, they look like mini Ipads, but when I loose my phone Il review my Apple options
I'm pretty much the same as this, I've always been iPhone and I'm just not arsed or technically minded enough to learn something else.Quote:

Oops, Some 6+ are bending like a banana in peoples pockets.

6+ is a ridiculous size, Compared here to a 4s,

I remember my NOKIA 6110 way back in college. Owning one will be like supercool until the mobiles went to upgrade the LCDs to coloured ones then eventually to email capable phones
then the rest was history.
Anyways, at least back in the days
though this phones has a size of a small
banana it won't bend as that of the 6+.

Arrived this morning - I really like the new size
Glad I upgraded
Nice laptop ^^ ;)
Congrats Dillon, enjoy it :)
I used to think big screen phones were silly, but I'm using my iPhone 5 instead of my laptop and squinting to read tiny letters when browsing websites is a pain! Would love a bigger screen now. Don't fancy getting a new phone just yet though.
