Can anyone recommend anyone in the Galway area the has experience getting a semi automatic roof to work? Not good at electrical work so its not an option for me to try it.thanks

Check the motors haven’t been disengaged, there are two in a full auto- not sure about semi auto. They are in the boot behind the p/s boot linings. If the emergency handle has been pulled the motors pop out of the roof mechanism and switch off from operating, if this is the case try pushing them back in and see what happens

There are many things that can go wrong with these roofs.
I’ve just sorted a fully automatic roof from a 1997 M3 with a donor part from another car.
Have you tried to re-sync the motors first?
This can sometimes be the culprit.

My motors are running teseted them
Tried reset nothing .
It was running fine .. them one day it wasent . Mines fully auto

Can anyone with a vert help out and tell me what is missing here? It has nothing plugged into it.im not getting any communication with the ecu for the roof when I plug in.is this plug linked with the roof.thanks
