I'm not sure how official that it is.
It screams photoshop to me as it looks like someone has grafted the 1M front bumper onto a 4 Series.
Looks good all the same. Look forward to the real life pics when its actually unveiled.
Looks like a render allright, but most of the sites are covering it as being official pics from BMW

I like it, the power bulge, bumper and m wing vents help with the way the front drops so much. No air intake on the bonnet though.
Took these from Instagram, seems Bimmerpost got to unvail it at Pebble Beach

Lol
Guess i was wrong.
Looks great though!
I like it too just don't know why bother with the change to 4, really disappointed by the wheels and a lot of BMW wheels of late.
I quite like the M4 wheels.
Wouldn't be dying about the new Msport wheels on the F30, but I think they look really well on the F31.

More!
I personally dont like that it is shown to have black grills as standard as the chrome kidneys are the Brand symbol. But then the brand symbol is whatever BMW says it is. lol
Looks great. I wonder is that Java Green or is it a new colour?

Totally agree on the name, the "M3" name is iconic and has massive heritage. The M4 name just doesn't.
Having said that, I do like it. Not 100% on the wheels either, I actually think they look too big for the car (must be 20's). It actually reminds me of the way Jaguar stuck 20's on the facelifted first generation XK (X100) which looked way to big for the car.

The colour is "Aurum Dust"Quote:

Yeah the name is such a let down, m4, it just doesn't sound right or look right.
And to the front end, it looks well, but theres something about it that doesn't strike me. One of the main reasons I love the e46 is that the bonnet is whole, theres no break before the badge and grill. I just think it flows better. I don't like the break at all and I always think its like drawing a line across a work of art, just doesn't flow right.
Then again I'm Irish and I hate change.

£60k sterling for an M3. :exclamation:
Thats alot of coin for an M3....
True, but then what does a basic 911 start at these days?
I dont see the M3 as a 911 competitor IMO.Quote:

So I suppose £60k or thereabouts is OK.
Inflation sucks! lol
No I don't either, but the gap to the 911 pricewise has always been about the same since the E36
Saying that, the RS4 never used to be a direct M3 competitor really either, but is now
Just checked. boggo standard 911 Carrera is 73k same starting price as an f10 M5.Quote:

Hmmmm Maybe they are competitors on paper?? :s
I love it! Comes across to me as very nose heavy but in a good way.
And to the ladies posting about the badge - If Angelina Jolie changed her name to Anita Jolie I assume & hope you wouldn't cause you a problem:D
She could called herself Frank Jolie for all I care once I got a ride:P
The same applies for this car M3/M4/M&M's:D
Look at this way, now that there will no longer be M3's coming off the production line anyone who has one will see there value increase slightly! Very slightly:cool:
M3's will still exist except they will only be saloons.Quote:

Haha it'd be hard to fork out £60K for a BMW M&Ms :DQuote:

I'll take Frank Jolie for a "ride" in the M&Ms wearing a genuine Schmolex any day though :P
Think I want a Schmolex now! :)
