E36 BMW 323i M-Tech Coupé
It took a lot of thought and hovering over the "post" button but I've decided it's time to move on my beloved e36.
I bought it completely standard and original with BMW Service History in January 2013 with 88,800 miles on the clock.
I still have the motorcheck report I did.
Also got a Full Health Check done in Keary's BMW in Cork and have the report.
It had one owner from 1997-2012 who only serviced it at BMW, the second from April 2012 - December 2012, and I am the third.
There's a few options that were a dealbreaker for me (Sunroof, M-Tech), and others I wasn't even aware of that were brought to my attention (twin airbags, Clubsport stitching on door cards, leather door handles etc)
Here's the spec sheet:

- There's a small dent on the nosecone in front of the passenger headlight which is hardly noticeable (have a spare montreal blue nosecone which I will include).
Have receipts for all the above, and Cab from Super4 has done 95% of the work.
It currently has 101k miles (will increase somewhat as it's in daily use till the end of September), has a full service history bar one stamp from 2012 and will be sold running perfectly with NCT till 08/15.
Car is in great condition, even the driver seat bolster has pretty much no wear on it.
It is located in Cork
Price is a firm 4,500 Euro. I have indoor storage space for it so if I don't get the asking price I will be holding on to it.
Please note this is not a "how much is an e36 worth" discussion thread so will appreciate not treating it as one.

Thanks lads, yea a lot of work has gone into it that's why if I don't get the asking price I'll be keeping it. It's off the road for 6 months end of September anyway like last year.
I have a few ideas for a replacement, just a matter of finding the right example ;)

Thanks folks! Just one thing... I was pulling your legs :P car is not sold and won't be going anywhere anytime soon :D I kinda feel bad now with the pm's I got congratulating me and what not.
I was toying with the idea of getting a 08 e85 3.0SI Z4 (262bhp) in time for next summer but would have to get one from UK and after some more research VRT alone is over 6k so it doesn't make sense right now. Besides, I would miss this too much :p

RE: E36 BMW 323i M-Tech Coupé
Didn't realise I haven't updated the ad. Since the ad was posted the car passed the NCT on the 24th October (valid till 08/15) and it got a new rad+expansion tank, it was also raised a little at the front and brought down a little at the back and got a 4 wheel alignment, and the throttle cable was given a thorough cleaning and is like new now.
-
RE: E36 BMW 323i M-Tech Coupé
To sweeten - an already sweet deal - the car will come fully valeted and with a full tank of petrol :)

Good call, will check it out now.
Edit: Is it UK only? it says £11.99 for a 30 day ad, and you can only put in a UK reg?

Paul's zm coupe was on there as was Philips M5

RE: E36 BMW 323i M-Tech Coupé
Hmm... I wonder if someone would travel from the UK for an e36, they're not quite extinct there yet. Maybe worth a shot though.

Keep pressing the fecking thanks button when trying to quote
Most uk buyers wouldn't have the slightest interest in a car in ireland unfortunately its just the way it is no idea why

RE: E36 BMW 323i M-Tech Coupé
Don't know why you are selling this with all the effort, time and cost gone into it. Keep it, drive it and at least get some value from your investment in it. Much more satisfactory than losing money on depreciation with a newer car.

Big up on this point!
You've 95% of the work that's needed gone into this, you'd lose as much on the depreciation in one year on a new car as it would keep this car going for the next few....food for thought!
-
RE: E36 BMW 323i M-Tech Coupé
I'm going to throw 3 months tax on to it and drive it for a while and see how I feel then :)
-
E36 BMW 323i M-Tech Coupé
Put a diff in then drive it you'll love it, tax hasn't been check for ages in cork guards to busy with the water meters protests . Not that I would know I always pay my car tax
-
RE: E36 BMW 323i M-Tech Coupé
Nice one Peterrrr!!! Did you start it again and did you drive it yet?
If so I'm happy out for you and as the others have said it would be a shame to sell it with what you have invested into it
