E36 - Ferrari wheels?
Dearest all who probably will hate me for saying this I've became obsessed over the last few months with putting Ferrari wheels on my E36. I actually can't stop thinking about it lol :) Specifically 348 wheels
I definitely want to try this what do people think?

RE: E36 - Ferrari wheels?
You know what, I actually think that might work. Sure a load of the VW lads put 928 wheels on their cars
-
RE: E36 - Ferrari wheels?
Getting bored of the style 5's have them ages now.
Every one is doing polished dish wheels it's boring.
I'd probably repaint them a light cappuccino color a very light gold almost silver if that makes sense?

RE: E36 - Ferrari wheels?
You would need some adapters made up to convert pdc of 5x108 to 5x120. Not sure if there would be enough offset to allow for this though

I'm gonna assume that your gonna have to buy replica wheels of some sort, Im not up to scratch on used Ferrari parts but can only guess those wheels would be hard to come by and cost a few bucks?
So can they be got in a direct fit?

No idea. There is an obvious set on sale in Europe ATM ;) I have a friend in Miami who thinks his local scrapper has one he said he'd post me the wheels if he gets them at an Ok price. They can be got. I just like the shape/size etc its a coincidence that it is a Ferrari wheel.

I saw that car on S/W but I think they only look OK. They look massive on that car. I wonder are the 18's or is that how 17's look on an E36?

RE: E36 - Ferrari wheels?
I like the idea of something different but personally I don't think they work. But I look forward to the progress regardless!

E36 - Ferrari wheels?
Well the ones I was looking at fell through. Too bad as they sold for what I think was excellent value for money. Oh well back to the drawing board :( Still loving the idea though!

RE: E36 - Ferrari wheels?
Ferrari F40 wheels is what you want!
They KIND OF look like the Borbet A / 3sdm 0.05 wheels, so you could try them, because f40 wheels would probably be 10 grand a pop :D
PS. I hereby place dibs on your style 5s if you're getting rid of them :D

Sorry, I know it's O/T, but why do American legislators insist on putting stupid things on cars? The splitter on that F40 extends way out past that ridiculous "fender protector" or whatever they call them!

They look so tacky. I think the front and back rubber strip bits were added because the U.S asked for them to have some sort of bumpers, because without them the nose cone and rear bodywork were just too unsafe  The reflector things are pathetic looking and ruin so many cars
