What car is it? where did you buy it what warranty was offered? Why is the exhaust blowing, did you hit something or did it start of its own volition?
As Rebel said, it depends on the warranty. If it's a fairly regular insurance based warranty (Mapfre and the like) I suspect an exhaust would be considered a wear and tear item, similar to a shock absorber or a brake pad.
e46 m3 members old car from here, full bmw warranty from conlons, very slight blow when cold I think it could just be a gasket but I said why fix it myself if they will ;/ cheers lads
I suspect it might be excluded but it can't hurt to try with them.

Could be the gaskets at the backbox..they are well known to corrode

no its supposed to come on like, its a secondary air pump that comes on for a minute or 2 when there cold, and then goes off. some people get them coded out
