Time passes so quickly.....:)
Clicked over 85k kms on the Z4 on the run in this morning. That makes just short of 16k kms that we've put on it in 9 years. Not a lot, but very, very few of them with the roof up.
Cleared the sunroof drains on the e90 320d, and attepted to clear the washer bottle filter which was blocked. Had every intention of getting it up and wheel off, remove the bottle and sort the drains while I was at it but forgot these 'newer' bmw's dont have a brace, a jack or even spare wheels so ended up doing it the hard way on the deck. All sorted in the end so finished off by giving it the first proper clean it's had in a good while. Still not mad on the car, but hate it slightly less today.
Took the M3 out of storage for the NCT, it flew through. Only good for 7 months as its been out since January. Can't understand why they don't give 12 months from the test date surely this would help with clearing the back log. Just checked and the next available date for a test at my local centre is 17th Jan, nearly 8 months, I better book it now[emoji23][emoji23]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...f983ce07de.jpg

I picked up the 630i today from John Roche, after 6 months there (it was tucked up for 12 months before that)! He's been busy, I've been busy and neither of us has needed the other to hurry. It had a good service and a bit of a freshen up of the suspension, shocks, some arms, bushes, etc. to tighten everything up again like new (it wasn't baggy, but just not as tight as the day I bought it at 80k kms in 2016). It is still just short of 140k km's but driving it back today it really is as tight as a drum. Got a relatively quick test date for it next week (but in Tralee, beggars can't be choosers). After that, its time to get it over 140k.
Sold it (my E60 520d that is), switched allegiances from Munich to Stuttgart and am now BMWless for the first time in around 10 years
