Replaced my old headunit. The Phillips one that was In started to go dodgy a few weeks after I installed it like you select one function and something different happens but lately it's just not playing ball at all.
Grabbed a sony item that's on sale in halfords at the moment 45quid with Axa card ,it's far from fancy but hopefully does the job required. Suits the dash a bit better too IMO

Dropped a few parts to the body shop to finish off the car. First time I've seen the car in 2 months and nearly cried. It's all primed up and ready for colour. I didn't have the heart to take a picture.
Gone to Limerick!

What ya looking at to replace, certainly a better priced car than I've seen around lately :)
I priced it strong in fairness cause I knew it was worth it all day long, once I get a legit viewer with cash in hand. Given the mileage, and what is now a 10 year old car, I think we both left happy :)Quote:

Lower wheel is SE

Lower wheel is actually called 'sports leather steering wheel' option code is SA255 I believe.
Halfway through refreshing my vaders, have the age related cracks finely filled and few light coats of dye on them.
Also swapped the bottom and backs with the passenger side to even things out.
The airbrush i got with the dynamix kit is pure pants, heads up to anyone considering purchasing a full kit. On the plus side the dye is a very good match, most important part :)

Interested to see the finished results. I've stopped using the dynamix dyes - had a particular issue with the black one but I think its the sealant that was the main issue. Have switched over to dyes with inbuilt sealant now.Quote:

Will a 9J ET26 with a 215/40/17 fit on the rear of a lowered standard arch E36?
Yes it willQuote:

Just trying to sort out wheels and tyres I have so there all useable. :)
On the front or rear? In either case it's been done but on the rear you might need a 195 tyre which is extreme. What have you got rondells or something?Quote:

Both front and rear 8.5J ET13, although I'v reversed EVO mounts on the front so the bit of camber should help.Quote:

195 bit too extreme stretch.
Been hoarding lately, Currently have:
Azev A with diamond cut lips, 8.5J ET13
Rondell 53 (Contour) 8.5J ET13
RH Topline AA Mk1 8J ET35
Style 66 8J ET20 & 9J ET26
Just trying to swap around tyres so there all useable.
Some remedial work on the back brakes for NCTS retest.
Rebuilt seized left caliper and replaced discs. Pads(textar) and shoes were done last year so are still fresh. I sanded the pads flat on a hard flat surface to ensure they will wear correctly on the new disc.

It's fair to say the discs were knackered...
New discs are fremax. I love the black crackle finish on the non-friction surfaces, it should keep them rust free for a while.
Very impressive work. The lock button is simply brilliant. Well done.Quote:

There is no pin for the lock button on the module so a root around is required :)

From my brief research since your last comment it would appear that both left and right situations exist depending on the button layout so either would be correct. Think it flows better that side for me anyway.
It's a bit of a stretch though :tounge:Quote:

Not sure what to do with the other now.

Corner of lip spoiler scraped, dent on 1/4 panel, paint transfer on lens and some scuffs below the cluster.
