Yeah it did, but this includes wipers, mini valet and safety check

Whats the RRP on wipers? Could do with a set and have found it very hard to beat OE wipers, I haven't come across a spurious set that were as good.
Usual dealer price is about €40 to €50 I think
Dealers is probably just a Bosch with a stamp on it. Don't be fooled.
Micksgarage do the top end of Bosch range. Next day delivery too.
True..I got new Bosch ones for the E60 for €22 delivered on ebay.
Oh I dont know, I've gotten Bosch before and they weren't half as good as the OE ones.
I recently bought a car that I had to get out of my system turns out the car wasn't for me so I sold it on. I took out a policy with Carole Nash and when I sold it I rang only to be told my policy is valid for 14 more days and after that if I don't put another car on the policy they don't issue a refund on the remainder! I had about 10 months left on the policy. Has anyone had any experience of this before?
Would anyone have a link to download the latest navigation maps for the Idrive?
Valeo is bmw original wiper blades
What version idrive?
If its CCC (or DVD driven) just download it and burn the iso yourself......any reputable torrent site will have them ;)
Was checking BMW Value service for my car, this is hardly just the paper air filter?? As in the €30 quid air filter?

I'm smitten with an 18 year old Japanese...!
It was love at first drive...
I spotted it across a car fair, behind the row of frankenstein rot boxes with different colour body panels, passed the horrid racing striped, black bonnet-ed rust buckets. As I took a look around the front and the sides I thought hmmm looks stock, around the back I saw an "SiR" badge - good stuff!... And an aftermarket exhaust... (well I am partial to an exhaust...) peeked inside... Oh those are nice (stock) bucket seats... Are those electric folding mirrors? Aircon... That'll surely come in handy during a New Zealand summer... Hey, Bose speakers! Are those Xenons?? They're stock? on a 1998?? Hopped in, started her up and from the moment I drove off I knew she would be the one!
The sound and feel of the car instantly reminded me of my old SiR CRX, my first true love... It drove as it should, everything worked, and so we made a deal and I brought her home!
It's a '98 Honda Torneo SiR 2 Litre DOHC VTEC... And while it may not seem like anything special, I went to this car fair on a Sunday morning with $1500 and for various reasons I had to come home with a car that day... I was hoping I would find something that just about ran to bring us from A to B, that's it! I didn't care how old it was, what the condition of the paint is, what options it had... So needless to say, coming home with a 200bhp car with actual creature comforts on it and equivalent of NCT and TAX was unbelievable... $1500 is around 1000 Euro to put things into perspective...
Anyway, fast forward a few weeks later, and I've to say I'm delighted with it overall
PROS:
- Really enjoyable to drive both long distance and short blasts
- Quick (VTEC Yo! Poweeerrrrr etc etc etc)
- Bucket Seats
- Toys
- Reliable (I will NEVER take this for granted again)
- Say what you will, but it sounds bloody excellent after 5,750 RPM (see above regarding "VTEC Yo") :P
- (specific to this car I guess) It's not a show car, and so I couldn't care less where I park it, if a bird decides to relieve itself on it, or if I have to drive down an unpaved road
Cons:
- FWD... It feels so wrong....
- To enjoy the engine fully you need to be at frankly anti-social RPMs... :D not ideal.. pretty much ever really! VTEC should be permanently on IMO... But then it'd probably be even less economical, which brings me to the next point...
- 25-29 MPG.... Seriously? I was getting better than that out of the 335i...
- It's not much of a looker, in fact probably the least interesting design from that era of Hondas
I know you'll ask for a photo anyway so here it is!

It might be partially nostalgia, but it's also just a good car! And where I may have been on the fence regarding an S2000 a couple of years ago, I'm absolutely convinced now more than ever that I would absolutely love one. A RWD Honda roadster with 250bhp and that lovely light/agile Honda feel? Yes please!
Just wanted to share my experience... But I understand if I'm banned now :D
Anyone want some BMW magazines?

I dare say that the wording sensationalizes things a bit but an interesting NCAP result for the latest Mustang. It smacks of the bean counters calculating that being sued for injuries would be less costly than adding safety features.

That's crazy on such a modern car it just reminded me of looking up my e36 many moons ago it has a 1 star rating 1 fecking star I was a little weary the following few days
Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
In the day the e36 would have been regarded fairly highly in safety against the competition. Just goes to show how far safety tech has come on in a relatively short period of time, and why cars weigh a lot more that their closest equivalents of a couple of generations older.
Not necessarily as cars from the same era score higher on the ncap rating even to this day the e39 for example scores a 4/5 the e46 also a four the weight difference is quite small between two identical 3 series e36/e46 has only a 50kg weight difference if we advance say 3 gens to the f30 I'm sure the weight difference is a fair bit more though
Plus let's not forget that the cars these days will almost certainly have an element of "designed to pass NCAP test" about them. It wouldn't be the first time a car manufacturer designed features in a car to pass a regulatory test. Cough.....Volkswagen....and now Renault, cough cough.
I'm looking at replacing and using a repair kit for the rear handbrake shoes on the E92, real OEM is giving me a PN of 34212213311 as per below:
http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/xq90/924/VWwq25.png
When I search that PN all i'm getting is Mini parts and nothing E92, do you reckon its safe to go with that and it will include the shoes themselves?
Went "Drift Karting" on Friday evening and it was probably the most fun I've ever had! Made a little video https://youtu.be/ycRCRd0-WEo recorded and edited on my phone so nothing special but gives you an idea :)
Weird, I don't think MINIs have rear brake show, at least my one doesn't, the spring kit has a part number: 34410410825
Here:

The part number you are quoting seems to be the whole shooting match.

So time for my car's WOF (NCT equivalent) here in New Zealand. Turns out it can be done at any garage and only costs $20. Also found out my friend's e90 330i is $87 (€60) a year to tax... I'm definitely loving this place more and more every day!
