Just a thought, if tax was say 300euro/year for an e39 530d, how much do you think they'd be worth? Would they still be hovering around 3k mark or would they be something like 7-8k? In other words would the cheaper tax make them more expensive to buy in the first place like this nonsense?

Although Good chance id be sitting in a 540i sport instead of a 525i if it were 300 euro [emoji1] i do such little mileage that fuel is never really an issue

^ +1 don't do lots of city miles and motorway miles are more economical than any of my previous cars, massive petrol engines FTW :D
