Pretty sure I just saw Ken’s old Porsche on the Navan Rd. Looks fantastic in the flesh.

ZV plate though? That suggests pre-87. IIRC the F40 only arrived in 1987?
ZV Plate once the car is 30 years old, so a 1990 could have a ZV plate.
On this car, from the owner in 2017:
"Just joined in the F40 conversation, anyway, I am the happy owner of F40 chassis 77289 and have been for the last 16 years or so. This is the first F40 to come to the British shores and it was the original Press Car, also it was displayed at British Motor Show in 1988 & 1989.
In the first year of my ownership, I used it all the time and clocked up 9000 miles and loved every minute, the car never failed. At this moment, we are preparing the car for a Classiche Certification. It has never been modified or changed to this day. We are just carrying out a soft refurbishment, ie suspension joints, a general tidy up. A photo attached.
Also, Nigel Mansell did drive this car and his words were ' why isn't my F40 this quick? '.
Anyway, had and still have a few Ferraris including a 599GTO ( 599GTO is absolutly awsome, an F40 with power steering and brakes is the best way to descride the beast ) a 430GT2 raced and won the 24hr Silverstone in 2010 plus many other races. No other cars have the strenght or give me so much pleasure to drive and race."
Probably changed hands after this.
'88 Motor show and one of the other cars mentioned.
I didn't realize that the scope for ZV was extended past the original intention of allowing pre YY plate format for relevant pre'87 imports.
Every day is a school day, thankfully!
