When they decided to drop the Hoffmeister kink you’d think they would have started with the Z4, bearing in mind they were sharing the design with Toyota.

So, a year on from the last update - has it grown on anyone ?
For me absolutely not and consequently I have seen very few on the roads (maybe there are more tasteless PCP'ers around Dublin ;)), but that for me is telling.....
Wonder what the sales figures have actually been like here ?
I'm down at the iX and i4 thingie bmw have been on today...
The iX isn't terrible - but they cars here are all black for some reason.
Haven't gone in yet so no haven't see the i4

I guess we've all been conditioned - it's not a whole lot more terrible compared to everything else they produce...
But yeah it's still pretty horrific

Still the ugliest car they or anyone else has produced. Hardly saw any on the road which means majority agree I guess. I saw more M3/M4s and M440is over the last year than any standard models.
As it happens, the full 2022 allocation is IX's is sold. I see it as people now buying BMW's who never did. A BMW was always a good handling, good looking premium car - which was generally understated. That's gone out the window now - just look at the state of the gear selector they put in the X5's and 8ers - its this crystal monstrosity that the lad at FK told me everyone now asks for.
In some ways I'm grateful, as I've literally zero interest in changing any of my fleet at the moment. Shame to see all the same.
