I would love an NSX! I knew of mechanic in ballymount who had one tucked in for years. Wonder if he still has it.. always regretted selling my little EK4 SiR.

A chap near me has had a beautiful 91 NSX for many years. That car probably marked the early days of the best days of Honda.
My brother in law bought a new 645i Conv back in 2004 as a pressie to himself for a career milestone. I tried to talk him in to a white near new NSX-R that was being advertized in the UK at the time (he was coming from a lovely Individual e36 M3 Evo). I know Honda toyed with the idea of bringing some official ones to the UK at that time but in the end decided against, but I have a vague recollection that this one and one other may have come over semi-oficially with Honda as there were a few car mag First Drives, etc. around that time with cars on period correct UK plates.
I do remember that the NSX and a Ferrari 360 Spyder that Des Cullen had whose merits I also tried to persuade of, both failed the test of "could he drive through the town that he lived in at the time without feeling like a spare tit, or being abused as one". Pity.......
The prices went through the roof on them, and having a type R I’d always want the NSX-R lol
Had to settle with the s2000 - still have it 8 years later and the accord type R 13 years now
Can’t part with them
So there are 2 then - Matt (of M&S Autos in Clarinbridge) is the owner of a red ‘91 NSX (UK Plates) - he has had it for 10 years I’d say....
There was another gent around Limerick who owned one and two RHD E28 M5’s.
I know of a silver one on uk plates in north dublin in storage.
