Experienced the E60 boot lock failure this morning. Diagnosed by Dr. google while in the office and fixed it this evening with the assistance of a thread from another forum. Should have taken a few pics but the job was taxing enough for my abilities !! Had three wires broken within the loom...... god bless the people who take the time to share their experiences in detail
took the e46 for the nct and it failed
Retrieved the E36 convertible from storage, taxed it too. Was looking forward to a day driving in the sun.....but the battery went flat because my charger died at some point...like a bear now!!
I'm sure it will recover....I hope.
In a brighter note I dropped the Mini down to Eddie the Dent Devil, I have 7 small dimple type dents that will be gone. The man is a genius!
Cars and coffee tomorrow in Little Island Cork too.
EDIT: The first time these two cars have met. First time I've had all 4 cars at the house...I need a new house with a bigger driveway!

Be interested to see hoe the paintless dent removal works out. I've one pin dent on the rear quarter I need taking out.
Any suggestion for someone doing this in Dublin?
Cleaned her new car while it was nice out. Kind of want a mini for myself now!
