Solved a really annoying rattle in my wife's passat B6, a metal clip on a rubber pipe barely touching off the coolant reservoir. Very satisfying to get rid of the last rattle!!!

Never had any rattles in the E46, BMW are or were streets ahead with their build quality IMO.
Lucky you! I have a rattle from the rear seats and a rattle up front either in one of the air vents or the piece of trim going across the passenger airbag:@Quote:

Speaking of drones off an exhaust, I was passing really really close to a car some muppet had parked half on the footpath in Inchicore yesterday, as I let off, it set off the car's alarm :D
Shoulda kept the 325, way better machineQuote:

I also have a shaky driver wing mirror, thankfully bmw are replacing it under the warranty because on the e46 m3 those things aren't cheap [emoji3][emoji106]

It's the mirror housing itself that's loose and shaky rather than the mirror glass inside it. You can't help but notice it as you drive either so it's damn annoyingQuote:

Mmm I'm not sure what's causing my rattle but when you put your hand up against it, it stops the rattle so I'm optimistic it can be sorted out. It's amazing the small things that can get to youQuote:

Lovely looking car, bit of practice with detailing on the e39 and then onto that ;)
Haha yeah would have fancied Kevin's car alright if I could afford it as another garage car. The mrs might not be happy as it being her car though :) Already did a bit on the touring, cleaned the exhaust a bit.Quote:
