Was behind a lovely clean123d on CSL wheels on the roundabout beside Toppart in Limerick. Wasn't with it long as I was turning off into the shop. Had a guess that it belongs to Enda on here as I saw he had popped up a pic 1er with his two beau-ti-ful 36's.
Earlier today on the N7 crossing the newlands flyover- e92 M3 in what I think was Daytona Violet [emoji41] great looking car [emoji106]

Mk4 R32 on Grand Canal Street...delightful noise off it!!!
In the US this week and spotted my first X2 in the wild on the highway this morning. Pleasant enough looking thing, a different style to the X4 (that's intended as a compliment). Just a pity that its based on a wrong wheel drive platform. I won't be rushing out to buy one myself, but I could see it being a fairly easy sell to Mrs D in a couple of years.
What are the reasons I've never been without a BMW for 20 years? Smooth 6 pot engines, RWD handling and driver focus and silky manual gearboxes.
I've practically given up on manual gearboxes over the past few years as the combination with miles, models and specs that I look for make them rarer than rocking horse poo. Same thing is happening with engines, especially if, like me, you prefer a petrol to a diesel. Small pool of candidates. Take away the 6 pot and what's left for me to stay for?
Just as well that I have a stockpile to keep me going for a while :). I may just by-pass the current offerings and go straight to electric and autonomous..........
