It only passed in Feb / couple hundred km ago. Might just put it through again for that additional year cert.

The market is a lot slower than people would have you think. I’ve been selling a car for a friend, cheapest version of its type, great spec, online now for 2 months with only one viewer. I think not being a dealer is hampering me a little but overall there seems to be a slowdown.
That being said the summer is THE time to be selling a Z4 and that one is a cracker.
RS6 “van” anyone?
https://www.donedeal.ie/view/37359068
Audi RS6
More common than you think - there's an RS4 2 seater local to me and it was quite common for the Golf R32's for example. Heck, nearly sure I saw a Z3M van for sale at one stage.....
I'd also suspect that (ridiculous) performance 4x4's like the X5M, Audi SQ7/SQ8, Merc G63's etc. in 2 seater or N1 crewcab trim outnumber regular cars in the country.
If you're VAT registered, then why not......:)
I would tend to agree - I have about 15 interesting vehicles saved in DoneDeal (none of them outrageously priced I would have thought) and none of them have seemingly sold in the past 40+ days......
The market I suppose is dictating that they are in fact overpriced it now seems though !
It'll be interesting to see what this 2021 840i Grand Coupe will go for in Merlin auctions on Jul 16th - presumably due to the higher mileage/needing a bit of work, Joe Duffy weren't interested in retailing it.
211 D 37052 for reference.

The one issue that would need further investigation (apart from only having 3 recorded services in its 132,000km's) is that it does seem to have had some rear end/quarter panel damage.
A real mint, low mileage one would be hard enough to shift, so be interested to see how low this goes price-wise.
Might be a real bargain for someone of course !

For the purposes of the calculation, I've assumed that the car was registered at the mid-point of the 211 plate period.
On that basis, given the mileage and the average speed shown on the last picture on the link, by my calculation, the owner of this car spent an average of approx 1hr 55mins driving it EVERY day since it was first registered..........
:)
Shameless plug!

This looks like it certainly needs the necessary Haus €20k (or more) spent on it.

Greg in Kildare is chancing his arm at €17k (NI Reg) for sure - look at the state of it........

I know we are into the realm of silly numbers, but is it just me or does this seem like a relatively OK price for a brand new G90 M5 given there are still second hand F90s being advertised for €100k+ (including this 2019 one for €120k)?
EDIT: and considering that G80 M3s still seem to start from €150k according to the BMW configurator? Is that right - how could the M5 be cheaper than the M3?
I'd assume because it's now a PHEV (albeit still with a 4.4l V8 bolted in too), the VRT/VAT cost has probably reduced drastically (as has the motor tax rate no doubt).
Still a 2½ tonne leviathan all the same.....
A cursory glance at BMW Ireland website yields just 38g/km on the emissions front which leads to a €140 annual motor tax bill which in turn simply highlights the absurdity of the current motor tax system.....:(
Not a BMW, but when did you last see one of these in the wild? Renault Fuego Turbo - pure '80's :)

And if you want an Irish Fuego
https://www.donedeal.ie/view/37495211 Renault Fuego Turbo
Now I’m feeling old……
There weren’t a lot of them about in this country, even back in the day. A pal of mine had one as one of his first cars back in mid-late ‘80’s. His was a fairly entry level model. These Turbo’s were in the rocking horse poo rare category even by Fuego standards.
The mechanicals were mostly Renault 18 donated. The Gardai had a couple of 18 Turbos back in the late ‘80’s as chase cars when joyriding was rife.
They do look pretty cool in fairness!
It would seem that this has popped up in a Dublin dealership @ €75k (and no mention of previously painted panels of course).

You can be sure that the final auction price is nowhere near what they're looking for (as you can see with some other cars currently for sale that came from auction houses).

I'm not familiar with the X5M of this generation - is that an aftermarket body kit or is that what it actually looks like?
Sorry, but I hope BMW never let any out of the factory looking like that :)
5.0 petrol definitely a rarity, not sure if that's a factory kit. No harm to have someone check the detail in the ad.... pan room anybody?
Low mile e30 Lux in my favourite colour.

Not an auto, but we have a 316i. Its definitely not quick, but it is a refreshing contrast to the daily drivers, rev happy, solid as a rock and comfortable in a way that moderns on low profile, large diameter wheels these days just isn't. At that age, that's almost certainly going to be the biggest ask of one, and a fraction of what a similar level of 318iS would be, never mind a 325i Sport, would cost.

Another F90 for under the €80k mark, first I’ve seen since that other one I posted here a few months ago which seemed to have some issues.
Would have thought that an M5 would have a pirelli or michellin tyres rather than Kumho.. I try to put pirellis on my F10, If the cheaper ones dont last on a 520, I cant see them lasting on a proper fast car.
Good spot. I’ve always thought of that as a red flag that the previous owner must have ran the car on a budget. But maybe that’s unfair. The amount of expensive cars I see with cheap tyres is surprising. The other day I saw a two year old Range Rover with budget tyres fitted. I’m sure there are plenty of wealthy people who buy these cars who just don’t really know or care about tyres, but I suppose that doesn’t necessarily mean they didn’t otherwise spend whatever was needed on the car in terms of servicing and maintenance, I guess it will vary from car to car.
In the case of that M5, at the very least I’d want to be factoring in the price of a new set of Michelins or similar to put on it straight away (or maybe the price already does that!)
In fairness, there could have been a lot worse than Kumho's put on it........
1 of 2 probable scenarios:
1. Owner was trading in the car soon and it needed tyres but wasn't going to drop c.€1,000 on a set
2. Keary's realised it needed tyres but weren't going to drop c.€1,000 on a set
