Strangely I have less and less interest these days in cars and very few actually interest me. I have had some very rare and unusual items about the place over the last while, rarely a car makes the dibs list these days.Quote:

Hard tops are like hens teeth, around 2500 euro for a new one or a grand second hand. Very nice extra if your going to daily the car. Andy...my faith is shaken by your comments. Maybe an injection of something really rare like an alpina would revive you :)Quote:

Spotted a 225xe in the hotel carpark in Portugal. It must be very quick if it’s got the same power as the X5 and it looks ok in white too
I started thinking about a hard top lately for some reason or another, They were coming up on the zone for about £1K. My build sheet for the cab says that it had "hardtop preparation" .. what ever that was...
It just means that it has the mounting points, etc. for a hardtop to be fitted. I'm pretty sure that most, if not all, had it listed on the spec.Quote:
