Ah just a nice little upgrade, been a long time coming. More features and a bit more robustQuote:

I think they used the s42b20 or similar variant. Savage engine based on the 1.8 m42. There's a thread on here about them. They can be brought up to 2.1 as well. Massive money to try build one!;)

Ye id well imagine so. Im assuming they dont use a bigger option due to class regulations?
Anyone have feedback on the E87 1 series? Family member is currently looking for a 1st car and is interested in the 116i model...
Got to long a nice E38 all the same!
Women in a new 4 series driving past just now, curbed both passenger side wheels all round driving against a curb. Painful
Public transport in this country is bloody robbery!
For me to get over to the naas road from swords and back twice today its cost me roughly 14 euro apart from the extra walking.
I would of done it cheaper in the m3! Even including toll charges.
I know tax/insurance is extra but still.
Rant over :)

Guys i know this topic has been covered before but i cant remember what the outcome was.
Regarding NCT and coilovers. Do they pass?
I know after market shocks/springs do but what about coilovers?
Thanks
Yes they do, never had any hassle over them.Quote:

Exactly the same style as paddy mac had on his 320d?
What's involved? ??
The offset might be an issue. That aside, unless you're gonna spend some serious money on coilovers, the ride will be terrible. It will also likely tramline. I drove a 330Cd with 19's and I hated it. It's such an unpleasant experience.Quote:

Different strokes iv no issues with 19's rides fine car feels fine zero tramline ,not sure why moving from 18 to 19 would cause this as wheel width and offset will be almost identicalQuote:

"One woman, who was driven from east Donegal to Dublin, (Via Sligo!) told the Irish Independent how two gardai arrived at her home at 7.10am and arrested her. She had paid 212 of a 450 court fine issued for not having a TV licence.
"I had been paying off the fine and I wanted to finish the payment so I was taken aback to see gardaν at my door"
In her case alone, the estimated cost of the arrest was 1,000 including 300 for the taxi, garda hours costing around 400, meals, the 20 bus fare and the loss of the entire 238 owed in fines"
Its disgusting stuff Ross, people genuinely trying to make ends meet ending up in jail yet the architects of this mess are still living the high life.

Anyone know what's new coming from the BMW camp? Heard there's a new I model on the cards and new X range? To be launched at the Frankfurt motor show this year!

Any ideas on how much it'll cost to courier a mountain bike from Dublin to Cork?
That x2 isn't something I'd be excited about seeing, another sad looking addition to the range. I can only imagine that soon enough we will be looking at X5GT's and other such nonsense
True enough I guess.......but it's the unknown......the 'what could be there'.....that I'd be interested in seeing!
