Is it possible to get Service History/Replacement invoices from BMW?
It's a '97 Z3 (Original Irish, 4 owner) so hoping they're might be some trace? (Can any BMW garage do it and how far back will records go?)
The individual garage will generally only have info for what they have done. Plus chances are they will not give copies of invoices not in your name. Contact BMW Ireland, they may confirm what dealers and dates etc for work done in their network. But you would need to visit dealer to get stamps in books. Again a dealer will confirm what work they have done.
Good man John, you must have that as long as I have the 325?Quote:

About the same so! Same rationale for keeping mine
She is looking really nice and clean John
If you don't mind me asking... what year is that Beetle from? Late 50s, early 60s?
Looking really really sweet and just sooo
I'd guess 1964 to 1967 based on the size of the windscreen.Quote:

Pre '54 - Split oval Rear Screen
'54-'57 - Oval rear screen
'57-'64 - smaller windows all round than later car
Up to '67 - Sloping (6V) headlights
Up to '68 - Oval tail lights
'68-'71 - "church window" tail lights
There's some other ques too like pope's nose number plate light, bonnet & bootlid shapes too that are giveaways & I won't even mention the horrible curved windscreen of later McPherson Strut suspension models!
I used to be a VW Beetle anorak! I restored 3 of them in college! Still have stacks of VolksWorld Magazines in the attic.
