At the Limerick Classic Show in Patrickswell this afternoon I just spotted the tail of Chillipepper's e36 Touring disappear out the gate while having a nose about.
A couple of very nice cars there, a brace of Ferrari 250swb's, a very early and rare rhd Lamborghini Countach periscope. Among the real world stuff was a really nice WW reg e28 525e showing 27k miles. It looks familiar, so I'm not sure if it belongs to someone here or has been for sale recently.
Any pictures? I would say that E28 is the car that was for sale recently. The Countach must be part of that collection down that way.
'Fraid not. I kept bumping in to people I knew so it distracted me from taking photo's - attention span of a goldfish I'm told.
You're right about the Countach ownership alright. I heard a whisper that there may be a rather special '50's addition from Zuffenhausen coming to that collection soon.
Forgot to say, the Limerick based e9 CSL was there too, looking well. Not sure I'm mad about the BBS split rims on it at the moment (if anyone has seen the recent piece in the retro classic mag), but a stunning car nonetheless.
I was there too , some good quality metal there , some fair shite too , lol !
Were you with the group of BMW's past the end of the grandstand in your e36? If so, I saw that. Was chatting with a friend whose 2002 was nearby for a while.
Had to leave early had a family birthday to attend, some very nice cars about, particularly the alpine white e91 touring with some nice mods really liked that one. Both Ferrari 250 swb's were fantastic to see in the flesh along with the Countach. Nice De Tomaso Pantera was a favourite too.
Yip that was me , pity I didnt get to talk to any of ye but then again I don't know what ye look like !
