I noticed a load of insects stuck to the roof of my car this morning. They were all alive but as if they had landed in glue and couldn't get away, really weird. Has anyone seen anything like this before?

That's just a photo of the sky!
Yea I've realised the pic is probably pointless but if you zoom in you can see the little fuckers, my roof is just hella shiney
We have a black glass topped table in the back garden and its always covered in flies stuck to it when its hot, Im guessing their legs melt and get stuck to it once the land so its probably the same story with your roof although I have never seen them stuck to my car. :huh:Quote:

With the increase of F30's and F32's on the road something I've noticed is the condition of the wheels. Most that I have seen have wheels that are hacked to bits from kerbing. I also wish the individual brochure was glanced at by the people who buy them, getting tired of seeing them in white and estoril blue.
The end of the Summer now, lot of bad weather due this week.
I have a feeling we are in for a bad winter.
Day 3 of being back in the Golf - Impressions coming from the e36:
Pros:
I am invisible on the road, 0 attention is attracted. This is good.
Parking is no longer an issue. I can park anywhere.
It feels like I'm driving on what seems to be a cushion of marshmallows and clouds.
I have used about 3 litres of fuel since leaving Wicklow Tuesday night :p
Cons:
0 craic is had when driving it.
Brakes feel like they were made for a mountain bike.
I have developed an irrational fear of corners.
0 craic is had when driving it.
Ditch the Golf and get something cheap to buy like a e36 compact or saloon :)
I can't, it's too damn reliable and cheap to run!! :pQuote:

Passed this place today in the middle of nowhere. Hadn't heard much of Mr Furley in a long time, not since Beemer Chris was going around telling people he was going into partnership with him.

Sure why not, even the lads in Buchloe were trying to twist his arm to partner up with themQuote:

DNA tests have positively identified the body found by firemen in a burnt out car near*Newport, Co*Mayo*early on Saturday morning as that of Dubliner Mark McKenna who had recently moved to the area.
Mr McKenna, who was single and in his early thirties, died on Saturday morning when his Saab car, which he had recently purchased, went out of control at Cuilmore on the Castlebar to Newport (R311) road.
The car was burnt beyond all recognition after bursting into flames when it left the road and crashed into a tree.
The incident occurred around 1.30am. Fire crews from Westport and Castlebar fought the blaze but there was nothing they could do so save Mr McKenna.
The deceased had a local address at The Quay in Westport.
A post mortem was to due to be conducted today at the mortuary of Mayo General Hospital in Castlebar.
THIS WAS MY MATE MARK DURING THE WEEK, we recently only burried his mam and dad separately and his brother Joe who's my best mate had the horrible job of giving DNA and identifying his brother. They have NO other family alive just the two brothers left.
R.I.P Mark mckenna. A great mate, DJ and car nut, who will be sadly missed.
Thats terrible news mick an awful tragedy for the only brother left to deal with [emoji20]
May he rest in peace
Very sad God rest him horrible thing to be left with [emoji20]

Bugatti president and Bentley CEO Wolfgang Duerheimer, shines a pretty incredible light on the lives of Bugatti's customers: "the average Bugatti customer," he said, "has about 84 cars, 3 jets and one yacht

Quick nct question if the boot wont open will it fail ?
The switch on the handle on the bootlid wont open the boot but the button on the key and button inside the car will still open it
Will they fail it on this ?
Just wait around for the tester to come out, show him the button inside and he won't even think about opening it any other way [emoji106]Quote:
