A recent ebay purchase arrived today. An Otto Models 1:18 E36 M3 GT Number 811 of 2500.
Overall I would say the quality and finish is very high with a lot of small details but I was disappointed that the doors, bonnet and bootlid don't open.
Apologies for the poor photos

Haha that's cool. This thread died very quick, good to have it back, great thread nice to see something different.
Got this today. It was a must have as I remember seeing a brand new E34 M5 in this exact colour scheme in '93 rolling our of Motor Import. To this day I still want one. I did know where the real one was but it has disappeared. Anyway

I must own one of those.....
E34 M5...beauty!
Has anybody seen any facelifted e34s in 1:18 or 1:12?? I'd love to get my hands on one, just can't justify spending the wedge on the wrong face of my car

Just seen some scale models that were around 100 - 200 quid :surprised: are they really that costly?
Afaik the only other 1:18 E34 that is available is an early model 535i. Have one think its Minichamps.
Yes some models are that price and more. Some of the rare art cars I have are going over the €200 mark now.
Regards,
Andy
Family member bought a new 320cd sport in 2006 and the dealer gave them this.
Came in a glass presentation case, which I still have somewhere.

I can only seem to find m5s and 535s, I'd be happy with a 535 if it was facelifted. Might just have to suck it up and settle for skinny kidneysQuote:

These arrived in the post today. I am surprised how good the quality is, Otto 1:18.
Andy has already posted the E34 M5, the E30 325i convertible is very nice.
I don't mind that the Otto models have no working parts, on models that have opening doors the shut lines are never to scale and they always look slightly wrong.

This arrived today.
Kyosho 1:18 M3 CSL in the dealer box with ///M sport bag.
It doesn't photograph well. The metallic paint looks very sparkly under the flash. It looks 100 times better in real life.

Very very nice model. I'm very impressed by Otto models.
Exactly the same as the 2750 mile car as well. Takes up less garage space though.
Yes me too, Otto are doing some very cool models. Although when we saw the car it didn't have the stripes.
Regards,
Andy
Thats really cool very detailed interior aswell by the looks [emoji41]
More lovliness from Otto.
