According to testers in Fonthill, there is a clampdown on ze german plates - zero tolerance given the inconsistencies in the past.
Simple answer dont go to fonthill. Never had an issue in Naas myself. This is all jacksh*t and has nothing to do with whats written in paper.
I have passed the NCT twice in Galway with German plates with the dashes and county on them.
They passed me when I VRT'd the car...Quote:
