I got some Goodyear Assymetric from Camskill and thought they look quite well.
I'm trying to decide should I be running a square setup on the Type 3's?Quote:

The 255 35 18 Vreds were perfect, no rubbing etc, the current Dunlop 255 35 18s rub
slightly, and I dont want that happening.
Don't want the handling to be affected, so prob just gonna order a pair of Vreds
Any tyres that come with rim protection would generally have that sloped wall that narrow towards the tyre section, you get some mistaking it for a stretched tyre
Sent from my Telegraph machine using Morse Code
Yeah, just that both the Vreds and Dunlops have a good rim protector but the Dunlop is a wider tyre.
I'd prefer to buy a pair of Rainsport 3s bit don't know if they'll be too wide as well
Rim protectors almost non existent on the vreds
Shoulder looks quite bulgy on the rainsport 3 so if having rubbing issues probably best avoided or have your arch's rolled or go 245
Good rim protector on the Vred's, well with 255 35 18 on an 8.5 rim
Wonder would 225 40 18 work ok on the rear?
Its tiny on a 235 tyre must be better on a bigger tyre , id say 225 be too small donal 235 minimum imo
If you do go smaller eagle f1's get very competitive pricewise then too and they have a nice narrow sidewall i believe
Yeah, will prob just go with the 255 Vreds again. Reading up on the web though alot of people seem to
run 225 all round on type 3s
You can do it no problem a lot run 215's here stretched on 8.5j rims but if you have 235's already i was just thinking you could stick with them and add 2 more 235's on the rear
Up to you at the end of the day im sure either would be fine
One advantage is the nice selection and price of 225's as there very common 235/245/255/265 etc really jumo in price :-(
Yeah, 225s are €60 each cheaper, but I think I'll just go for the 255 Vreds again.
At the miles I do, will prob get 4 or 5 years outta them
Pics showing the current 255 Dunlops, theyre very very wide

can supply them, would rather buy local as opposed to camskill
Dont hold your breath , hardly anyone has them not really a popular tyre in ireland
Michelin ps3's have a nicely sloped sidewall too and are an amazing tyre.

Robin Williams R.I.P http://m.tmz.com/#Article/2014/08/11/robin-williams-dead-commits-suicide
RIP - he seemed like a good auld skin!
RIP.
Suicide is always very sad to see but in this case it seems even more so. His public persona exuded happiness and brought laughter to so millions but God only knows the daemons he fought with inside.
Although he brought lots of laughter, he always struck me as someone who would struggle when not in the public eye! Almost that he needed it to get by, and that he'd be on a major down after the buzz of doing stand up or whatever!
Terribly sad!!
Very sad indeed may he rest in peace
So sad and huge loss may he rest in peace
Very sad indeed, such an amazing entertainer and character. Was just watching a film last night with him in it and have very fond memories of him from my childhood up. Another comic great dealing with horrendous internal mental issues that ends his life early. As John says suicide is always so sad. RIP. Mork out.
Going to put together an add for the e36 to go for sale, hopefully I can hit the "Post Thread" button when I have it done :tounge:
If anyone is interested in the car as is or standard then PM me...
I think this is often the case with people with severe depression, the outer persona often over compensates for the problems that are bubbling under the surface.Quote:
