RE: E92 335i / Late E46 M3 possibly..
Folks, would anybody here consider buying that car for 16,250?
2006
91k
NCT 02/16
Tax 08/15
2 new rear tyres
Resurfaced brake discs
Inspection 2
Resprayed bonnet, rear bumper, driver mirror base
Some pdr done
2 year warranty
I'm sure after the phone call earlier that the bodywork will still not be 100%, and the interior does reflect the mileage especially the driver seat..
Is it still worth it? Am I just getting bogged down with little details? Would you spend your own money on it? Or would you pull the plug and wait it out...?

Not a hope.
I'd rather buy this and spend a few grand getting it up to scratch

RE: E92 335i / Late E46 M3 possibly..
would never pay even close for that mileage car and in general .
RE: E92 335i / Late E46 M3 possibly..
Regardless of what they have done or are supposed to do to the car, its very expensive for what it is.
Yes you are buying from a main dealer so you have the security that the car is legit without a chequered past and that it has full service history and a warranty.
However it simply is a lot of money based on current market value.
And even though you get warranty with the mileage on the car you will undoubtedly be spending money on it in the foreseeable future.
90k miles is alot on any car especially an ///M and I'm sure alot of the suspension components are well past their best even though they will sell the car with a fresh NCT cert.
What is the rough VRT on these cars now?
RE: E92 335i / Late E46 M3 possibly..
I agree, I'd pay it for a car worthy of being described as "in mint condition" but that car isn't, and it's not going to be by the looks of things so it's just not worth it.
Genuinely appreciate eveybody's feedback/advice. I will give it a miss and the search continues......
RE: E92 335i / Late E46 M3 possibly..
these cars are not so common to big troubles once maintained well . in this case u buy guarantee which not very needed and only 2 numbers on car number plates, its 06 ! but already 100k mls and what will be in year or two? who next will be mad to pay something even closer to this price??
RE: E92 335i / Late E46 M3 possibly..
@ DoktorB: It depends but in the region of 2-4k or thereabouts I believe.

Keep going back to look at it once in a while, nice car but think the SMG will piss me off tbh. it's probably worth viewing though. Considering its the same mileage and half the price of the other one!

Peter here is my advice. I have dealt with Conlans many times and bought several cars from them and I outlined the good and bad and my experience with them. All that aside, it comes down to this. If you agree something with someone and then they renege on the deal, change the parameters etc and it's not to your liking walk away.
