Thanks, no I didn't have to go near the heater pipes. The oem frame for the stereo did however have a bit of modifying to fit the new stereo. I have a few pics in my car page that shows how I did it.Quote:

Front passenger wheel? Noticed it when it was on the ramp in Valdas's ;):DQuote:

Dropped my 95s off in Dublin to be refurbished, again, on Tuesday. Told them beforehand that I absolutely need them back for the weekend as I'm working in the UK next week and am sailing Sunday. Rang today to see how they were getting on and was told their compressor blew up yesterday and they're still waiting for someone to come out and have a look at it so no progress has been made since Tuesday. Grand says I, I'll just collect them and get them sorted when I come back but told they've already removed the tires and dipped them :@
I know it's not their fault but I can't go to the UK on the loaned 17" wheels as the tyres are Chinese shit, and the car is too low to go on the boat. It also looks massively shit, which doesn't help either.

That's shite Paddy, if I had anything larger than 17's you'd be more than welcome to borrow them

Old door handle out: (BMW again want €250 for two special tools to get the handle out, coathanger and a flathead screwdriver do the same thing):

Well chuffed with the repair. :D
Now to repair the old one and keep as a spare.
Woke up to discover my front spring broke on the e90 :(
What is it that the comfort access does? makes it easier to pull the handle ?
I was thinking though it looks relatively easier to repair the existing than spend a bunch on the replacement.
Lets you open the door and start the car without having to take the key out of your pocketQuote:

You have to be right beside the door you want to open for security. You also can't start the car unless the key is actually in the car for additional safety.
The touch sensitive strip typically fails too after water shorts it, so a new handle is usually needed. Also couldn't pass up on the price for a brand new one in the correct colour.
Collected my 95s from being refurbished :)

I know there were issues, but all credit to Tony and the guys in Route66, they never once gave me any hassle with re-doing them. Ireland could do with a lot more companies like them and they have a lot of refurbished BMW stock for not big money. There's an awesome set of Style 218s there which would look amazing under an E90 IMO.
One of my favourite OEM wheels! They look great

Multispoke and concave or dish is always a winner, great looking wheel on the 3 series
Are these the final wheels for the car or can you see yourself changing them??
I might pick up a set of 18s this year for daily driving and keep the 19s for shows and stuff. In saying that, I noticed shit all difference in comfort on 17s this week.Quote:

Today I took names for all the 3 figure parts left in the e30 and I may have, nay, I have bought an e34. I feel happy.

Edit: note the complete lack of any beading!!!
Replaced seat heating mats in compact. Driver side bottom part didn't work.
Replaced all 4 mats.
Modern vs. mid 90's seat heating mat. You can see where it has been burned out.
