Started the process to replace the seals for the rear windows on the E36. When trying to loosen the T20 bolt that holds the clamp for opening the the bolt and cover on the outside are turning together, therefore not loosening. Anyone have any ideas how to solve this?

Any ideas..have a rattle from 900 rpm to 1000 rpm..doesn't matter what gear it's in....any ideas? Loose bracket?
It would be easier to remove the pillar trim and remove the two bolts holding on the latchQuote:

pull the inside seals off the b pillar and then remove the b pillar cover using a small pry bar. This exposes two torx head bolts and one nut from which you can remove the window. The pillar trim can be stubborn but if not rushed it will come out without breakingQuote:
