Ha no had one before the 328 :)
Was actually planning to move on the 328i but common sense prevailed, will be with me for another year at least and it will be getting a few nice xmas presents ;)
Z4 3.0 si Coupe is where it's at...would love one of those, definitely over the roadster....I don't remember you saying you were a hairdresser Peter?
I can understand the SE over M Sport preference, but if you've seen the very last 335i's with all the options they threw at them, I'd say you could be convinced :)
Who needs a sunroof when you can have this........ http://www.carzone.ie/used-cars/bmw/3-series/used-2007-bmw-3-series-335i-m-spo-dublin-fpa-92614132976618810Quote:

Usedcars.ni and autotrader.ni are two i use
What do you think of this super low mileage 07 330d msport crimson red 2 year bmw warranty
You mention resale value a lot and i think a car like this will give you a better return later on jump in drive for two year without a worry and with a remap would match 335 speeds no problem

I saw that Gar, it's a very tempting proposition. I'd just feel I didn't get what I wanted though. If I'm forking out for an e92, I need that 35i goodness in my life :PQuote:

I could have gotten you one a month or so ago. I know a man who had sourced one at £1,150,000.Quote:

@ Andy: Crunching some numbers, that Mclaren P1 is worth 1,046.95 E92 335is (going by the price of the one in Beshoff's).. And yet it's only ~3x more powerful :p
Money no object there's no doubt it'd be in the lotto garage though, that's for sure!
Well my friend happened to buy this http://www.carzone.ie/search/BMW/3-Series/325i-M-S/201434226409220/advert?channel=CARS a couple of weeks ago, I saw it in person tonight and had the pleasure of taking it for a spin, and it's a fast car!! If this is what an e92 325i is like, then I'm in for a REAL TREAT with the 335i... They must just be ridiculous...! Excellent!!! :D it was luckily an auto so got to try the paddle shifts and I have to say I found them surprisingly responsive, I would never say there's much of a delay to talk about really. Let's just say I'm looking forward to a 335i now more than ever :D
Yeah you'll not be disappointed Peter..try make it up to Dublin even to test drive that basic spec 335i, you'll be so busy marvelling at the acceleration, you won't notice it doesn't have a sunroof
Just realised that was the first time I properly drove an e92 actually, and I like it! :D
I think if the right car came up and it didn't have the sunroof I could probably live without it, but I couldn't do without the idrive, the dash is so fecking empty without it. It should be standard really!
I'm in shock that this was your first drive in one!!!:huh: Definitely in for a treat with a 335i though!! You'll have to drive one very very soon!:P;)

I'm on my way Paddy! :pQuote:

Just out of curiosity, what are people's opinion on this, 335i SE on style 230s like this one:
http://i1350.photobucket.com/albums/...psbebf9e76.jpg
Or in M-Sport like this one?
http://i1350.photobucket.com/albums/...ps2bb970e5.jpg
I'm very much leaning towards the SE, especially since they come with sport suspension and seats as standard. With a beige interior and style 230s I think it's a classy sleeper.
M-Sports are nice ofcourse but every 320d on the road is an m-sport and as a result I don't think they're really anything special anymore....
Anybody agree or have I just been looking at too many SEs that they've grown on me? :p
I like SEs but with shadow line rather than chrome. I think they look a bit different from all the 320ds around too, as you say
I actually like the chrome too :)

Mileage aside, lovely car and nice spec but I've settled on getting an e92 I'd say Gar :)
SE model ,shadow line kit
Valdas I was totally stalking your e92 thread yesterday :D What a fecking gorgeous car! Exactly the look I'm going for :)Quote:

It's been over a week and no new cars for sale! Where are they all hiding! :D
That was a very nice example in fairness @[Valdelisbmw]
I think in your budget, you're going to be limited to SE cars anyway, so you better like them :D
I really think if i was in your shoes Peter, I'd go see the Beshoffs one and see what deal he'll do.
I know youre not a fan of the wheels, but thats an easy fix
I'd also just buy an E46 M3 though :D
I really do prefer them, just look at Valdas' car! :) so happy days I guess :pQuote:

I'm half worried if it sells I won't find something else with a year and a half BMW warranty though :( Ah.. Decisions...!
If I can make it to Dublin next week I'll go have a look at it at least anyway.
Edit: fairly sure e46 M3 is out of the picture now too. Love the e92.
@[Valdelisbmw] is that Saphire black?
 i really cant rememberQuote:
