Holy shit!
How did i miss this thread:surprised::surprised:
Just had a good old laugh at some of the picture.
The e36 touring should have made it on to this.:dodgy::dodgy:
This week got in car, which was working noisy day before she died and never start again ,just turned over . Start investigation and found this ,air filter wasnt replaced from 2007 ,spark plugs with 60k mls and engine is burning some oil as very usual on M54 engines .so how all this looks like ,btw now after full engine service shes alive again and running very good .
So change plugs more often and dont use Lidl oil :hehe!::wink: if U dont want to stuck on the road
P.S. drivers side engine bay, under pollen filter ,half of it filled of water as drainage hole was blocked with tree leaves as one of small covers beside pollen filter covers was missing .red and yellow lines shows water level
holy s**t those spark plugs :surprised:
Christ !! There probably the original plugs some people take "longlife" way too seriously :D
they there replaced at 60k mls ,now its 120k mls
This is the same plug after 20k id say 30k is the max on them the 60k they say they last for is way too long http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/02/23/du7avyta.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/02/23/vurutuhu.jpgQuote:

If somebody will want to use some coolant stop leak stuff, must look at this
I'd say it definitely stopped leaking :DQuote:

E92 320i with 95k km ,im nearly sure its OEM plugs car came from factory
Shocking stuff id say your right original plugs from day one serious penny pinching , ,although I know of a toyota auris bought new in 2007 still on its original oil its never had a service in the last 7 years [emoji1]
When it comes sale time the garage will have it advertised as one lady owner "mint condition"
Haha, I know they are longlife plugs but that's taking the piss!
@[Gar] that's incredible, I love to service it...
I think the E92 320i I brought in to you @[Valdelisbmw] had the original plugs before you changed them?
That car had been main dealer serviced from day 1, under warranty until a few months back.
They also didn't spot the timing chain needed doing...prob cos the computer didn't say so.
Plugs not due on the newer engines until 100000kms, bit of a joke yes but that's what they say!
yes ,and even on E60 models not much less recommended for plug replacement .In think it should be BMW guarantee if they didnt last 100k km :hehe!:
btw ceramic part missing from plug went in to the engine, and im sure they didnt last even half of recommended mileage
