Every morning going to work, I pass my 2.5 liter petrol car to get in to my 3.5 liter V8 to head off and get into my 12 liter diesel HGV so....uh, sorry environment [emoji51]

Took the v10 to work today....it’s days are numbered on this world I feel. Best to terrorise the roads on it while we still can!
Personally I think the majority of it is a absolute load of rubbish.
The 6 largest container ships in the world, contribute as much pollution into the atmosphere as the equivalent of 175 million cars.
Just another political angle to ram this "carbon tax" down our throats.
What pisses me off is the government convinced people that diesels were better so offered cheaper tax. That’s the bloody reason why our emissions aren’t reducing.
People that drive in traffic in the city etc don’t need diesels.
Such horse shit
Plus....
Here is another thought
Here is the current volume of aircrafts in the skies. Bigger issues to worry about the Ireland being a little fart in the tornado

And to add to this, one of the biggest global carbon polluters sells us all kinds of chemicals to pour down the drains causing damage to the marine environment...and healthy oceans would help with the c02 in the atmosphere.
Diesel engines I’ll defend from my point of view as a truck driver. The emission controls on mine are unreal, the adblue system along with a dpf regeneration and a few other things going on mean it has almost no bad stuff leaving the exhaust and if anything’s faulty, it’s warning lights, alarms and limp mode until put right. You will never see cars have anything like that.

Buying carbon credit on the dark web in order to put a V8 on the road in 2032 :p
