Thanks so much for that. I'll get onto my builder on Monday. Getting an insulated roller door myself, are you going to have heating and/or you installing a dehumidifier?

Have you thought about something like these? If you have the head-room, they could be useful in doubling the toy capacity. I'm think on these lines when I finally do something here at home.

I have insulated the crap out of it with blown bead in the cavity and then 100mm Kingspan in the roof with 50mm insulated plasterboard overlapping that.
I’ve installed a new separate gas line from the main line to accommodate another boiler specifically for the garage. What’s not documented here but I must take some photos is that we have two offices, a toilet, kitchenette and lobby area. My office is the one with the window overlooking the garage. All of these areas will have raised insulated floors and heated on separate zones. For the garage at present I have no heating but I have an option to drill straight out from the boiler to install a radiator to keep the chill out. Haven’t decided if I’ll do it or not.

Wow, I built a garage myself last year on a small budget to be fair and this makes it look like a cattle shed!
That looks really great Eamonn, one thought occurs to me. If you put a sliding door on the WC could you squeeze a shower in too?
We thought the same John but it's not required. He says until one day we convert it. :)
