Well, hopefully I've found one. It'll have the higher tax of €1494.
Is that kind if level of tax going to be a deterrent when selling on, or would potential buyers of that kind if car expect to have to pay that ?

Is it a deterrent for you buying? My point is, you want to buy the car so you are aware of the added costs and factor them in. My thinking would be when selling, that someone will want to buy it, and therefore should have the same thought process and would be aware of the likes of tax etc. That said, if selling in the future, having a few months tax on it and the same with NCT will help move it on so the new owner won't be lumping out twice in one go!
^What Paddy said!
Was just gonna say, people have a certain perception to costs and will spend the money on something but not the other even if it amounts to the same thing. When selling put a year's tax on it and add the cost of the tax to the price and I guarantee it'll sell no problem ;)
Yeah, I think you're spot on, plus it's not a huge amount more than my 325, with a good bit more poke for similar tax
There was an '08 LCI 335d for sale in Limerick for a good while, is that still knocking around?
Not sure, wouldn't kind having a gander though depending on price and mileage.
I'd hold out for a 335i if was you.
