It's not worrying really! Chances are you'll be using the auto most of the time unless you're a regular at doing spirited drives!! Day to day the auto is more than sufficient and is a great balance for spirited and normal run of the mill driving. If you drive one that has no software update and then one that has had the update it'll be quite noticeable though as the non-updated box is very clunky between 1st, 2nd and 3rd.Quote:

Hena' teeth! I test drove an auto e92 with the paddles and have to say was impressed with how responsive it was, I would prefer it actually.
Breaking all my rules here, fancy an auto SE and considering non sunroof cars :p
Eh, I could be wrong but I thought it was only the M's with a DCT.
Never noticed a DCT option in the configurator for a non M.
Besides an auto box, the others could also have a sport auto gearbox which came with paddles.
I'm sure I'll be shot down so I'll put on the parachute now.
