Same!!! Just today, passat as well. Never ceases to amaze me how well BMWs handle, you don't have to thrash them you can just be doing 100km/h but you're doing 100km/h everywhere regardless of bends/corners :D LOVE it.
Car was in for test, told I need bushes for the front. New wishbones, bushes and balljoints done just in August gone. Also put in evo mounts reversed for more neg camber.
Now are they thinking the wheels are at an odd angle because of bush wear? If there is no wear would I get away with just throwing back on the normal mounts rather than having to take out the wishbones and get bushes pushed in?

Some facts on the E46 M3;
The (SG 6, Getrag D, S6S420G) transmission is the same transmission used on the E39 M5 and E52 Z8.
Body rigidity is achieved by the use of additional gusset plates and weld points. Reinforcement in the C-pillar and in the luggage compartment.
Has additional Caster (+8 degrees).*The V-Strut that connectes the rear axle carrier carrier to the body has a small plate panel that is curved to add cooling to the differential.
The E46 M3 does not have ServoTronic like the E39 M5.
BMW recommends to adjust valves at every Inspection.
The S54 block has 3 knock sensors. Each sensor for 2 cylinders.
The "bare" block weighs approx. 105lb. (48kg)The crankshaft is forged steel.
*Connecting rods are reinforced forged steel and are "cracked".Weight optimized (+/- 4 grams).
Only one set of connecting rods (the same weight class) is available to maintain balance.*
Pistons are graphite coated cast aluminum (full slipper skirt). Weighs approx. 470 grams.
Uses a floating wrist pin.Pistons are cooled by oil spray nozzles that spray underneath it.Does not use an electric heated thermostat.
Exhaust valve is sodium filled to ehance cooling.*
Normal operating pressure for the fuel system is 5BAR.*VANOS operating pressure is 100 BAR.An integrated ambient barometric pressure sensor is integrated into the DME

Why ?
Empty carpark and they still park beside me.
Wrecks my head. :@

Why did you not park in an end space like the car nuts manual says!! :tounge::tounge::tounge:
Such a pain in the balls, at least he left a bit of space I suppose but I usually park at the very end of the furthest car park from wherever I'm going and someone still manages to leave all the spaces and park next to me. Don't like to take 2 spaces as I know what most people think and somebody may try to harm the car on purpose but I try to park at an end space and leave plenty of space on the side where someone may park.
End space was beside a trolly park so that's asking for trouble + it's a good bits way from the shop.Quote:

Amazing the amount of bmws that go up on donedeal on a daily basis that aren't even worth a second glance so many dull boring rough ragged looking cars out there
On the plus side they make great spares(cheap) and keep the good ones going. All things going well I would like to.get one myself and keep it for spares.
Some of these cars are +20k plus though [emoji2]
You do make a good point however.
That red E30 M3 sport evo or evo 2 ? on style 5s that has been for sale in Wexford for years has sold to an enthusiast in the UK.
Another rare car leaving the country ..
This one??Quote:

Yea I think I saw someone on retro rides saying they bought it.
Yea that's the one I couldn't remember the name of the garageQuote:

That Kelly fella was gearing up to start selling cars back to the uk since the vrt refund came in. An Irish E46 CSL (possibly the only one) has just been exported too. Hate seeing original Important Irish cars going abroad. Kelly had it at one stage.

Andy
It's a shame, in a few years you'll have to go the UK for something nice, Irelands small pool of decent examples of performance cars will be drained for vrt refunds, E92 M3s are a prime example at the minute. Once these garages have a routine they'll be transporting over M5/3s and bringing back 520dsQuote:

I had to drive the missus' little Suzuki Swift into work yesterday to drop it off to Valdas to do a job on it. (Top notch work and turnaround as usual from the man )
While I was driving in and out to work, there was a very noticeable difference in the behaviour of other road users towards me. On two separate incidents I had guys driving overly aggressively behind me. I even had one guy randomly roll the window down and have a go at me!! His issue was incomprehensible mostly because he was an illiterate degenerate :tounge:
I never get this when I'm driving my own car (e90 saloon) but it just goes to show that people do act differently towards other road users depending on the car your in!
E90 M Sport touring in Le Mans blue outside my office window.
Would almost make you want one...even if it's a diesel!
Really getting sick of the toilet... Been in it 20times today already.
Myself and the young lad have a viral infection and let's just say it ain't pretty.
Lads from the council filling the potholes on the road home, I've seen cattle shit on the road with more precision and tidiness. Not looking forward to washing the car next and discovering a new layer of tar

Well just back from Spain and it was amazing...! It wasn't so much a business trip as a complete binge! Only recovering now nearly 24 hours of sleep later... Not sure what to do when I go on holidays now..? Lots of lovely cars but the pictures I have are kind of crap, my favourite car I saw was a Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale... But then it would be, as it's my favourite car anyway :D
What is it about a gate that screams "PARK IN FRONT OF ME"...?

I would but it's a different car everyday, so it's not like it's one person that will learn his lesson. Anyways, I'm outta there end of the month. Other than the parking it's a lovely place, but onwards and upwards :)
