There was a lovely ‘05 325Ci with 117k km on DoneDeal a few days ago for €5k. E36 prices have gone a bit mad lately.

Jim’s at it again.
Think that’s where the two different colours came from the electric seats I mentioned previously. One red electric driver seat and a manual black passenger. Has to be the most random advert and heavily priced for something that needs to be worked on just to have matching front seats

Anyone know anything about this
I know the previous owner years
Butbit has been in Dublin for last while and for sale a long time
Wondering if there is any issue with it or why for sale so long
Its keenly priced
I'm looking for a cheap presetable run around and this might work for me

Main issue with those is the timing chain, family member had a 2007 one and timing chain needed replacing at just over 50k miles.
If not done already youd need to budget for that
I can't remember if the e92 got the N43 from the start, so I stand to be corrected, but given the early plate (I know its probably a reserved number, so it may not indicate its an early 2008 reg) and the Jan NCT renewal, it might be worth confirming whether it has the N43 or N46 engine. I know the cut-over for the saloon was late 2007, so there's every chance theres a few 2008 e90's running around with N46's.
They definitely seem to take a long time to sell. Take this one, was for sale back in Jan, looked like an even nicer example.

A neighbour of mine had a 2009 320i vert, it went through a few coils and needed and injector too. I think it had a HPFP issue at one stage too. Just something to note. Then again, every car has its achilles heel!
car is listed as the N43 engine
coils and injectors can be an issue with these more so than a chain
its had a changover to the modern coils a while back going by the history but being honest I wouldn't be surprised if you had an issue with them again someway down the line
