Bit of carbon fibre wrapping on the 320d gearstick surround. It's not perfect but it does tidy up the very dirty, dead and gouged appearance it had. Not bad for a first time go at the stuff.

@[EndaC] What did you do to get the emissions down? I thought yours were high the last time?
A new cat Chris. The old one looks like it was possibly the cars original, it's there at least as long as i have the car so thats 7 years and 50+ thousand miles.Quote:

Low Idle: CO 0.02 vol%

I gave the car to a local independant specialist who has full diagnostics and emmision testing equipment. He checked it all over and he thought the only posibility was the Cat as almost everything else is new. I couldn't get a genuine one due to the timeframe so he fitted a spurious one. It doesn't sound the nicest but it did the job this time around anyway
One down 3 more to polish.its gonna be a long day hahttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/29/ze3ytudu.jpg

Gave the car the laziest clean in the history of ever between getting home from work and having dinner:
-Power wash
-Spray on wheel cleaner, bug remover and window cleaner
-Power wash
-Eat dinner

For an even quicker wash just clean the alloys to make look a bit cleaner, have done it plenty of times

New rubber on both front corners and a drop of tax. Did up my list of the few bits needed for the restest and also should hit 170,000 this week. :surprised:
Got some engine oil today I'm just waiting on the oil level sensor then it's time to drop out the old and put in the new :) the weather is lovely so http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/04/01/tude4ede.jpgnow would be the right time but I gotta wait for the sensor to arrive :(
Is the oil sensor difficult to replace and does the part cost much???Think my 320d needs one and a good service to go with it!
