Seen that bp are predicting the same but in all honesty they siad they dont know. it could just as easily shoot past 1.50 a ltr again in 6 months time a 25c saving at the pumps is still not enough considering oil by the barrel is below half the price it was in october
RE: Fuel prices coming down
Filled the X5 on Sunday in Tesco Arklow for €98 @ 1.18 I think it was. Be interesting to see how far it goes. Filled it last week in Applegreen for €100 on the nose which got me 875km. Reasonable enough compared to the 120-30 a week it was costing before.. that's a fair chunk every year!!!
(When I say filled it, it was down to a range of <10km each time so not exactly scientific but close enough that I wouldn't want to risk getting to work or home on what was left in the tank!)

Yeah we really should be at least €1/L by now!
It will be sweet when it does. Got 450kms out of €50 this week so starting to notice a difference alright.
RE: Fuel prices coming down
I don't think it will ever get to €1 per litre! The rate at which prices are falling is snails-pace compared to the fall in price-per-barrel. Still no mention of energy prices falling yet either! Lowest petrol price I've come across is 127.9 whereas diesel in the same garage is 113.9. Last week there was about 2-3cent in the difference between petrol and diesel!
RE: Fuel prices coming down
I'm almost sure I saw petrol at 1.19 and diesel at 113.8 in applegreen tullamore yesterday
RE: Fuel prices coming down
124.9 in Esso 2 days ago :) Petrol
RE: Fuel prices coming down
Mount Brown cheapest in Dublin, possibly Ireland
RE: Fuel prices coming down
Definitely noticing the difference, the 328 is a thirsty car, getting around 20mpg in the city these days, got it at 124.9 yesterday near walkinstown.
